– Normally It takes 5 business days to process a visa after the application submission.
2) Via-Mail (When applying by mail, a self-addressed return envelope with prepaid postage is required.)

- Some Korean consulates require visa applicants to submit the PCR Negative test result issued within 48hours of visa application.
- All teachers/passengers entering South Korea must have a recent negative PCR test result certificate in order to enter South Korea. (The test must be taken within 48 hours of your departure as of January 20th, 2022. Please take this into account when planning your departure to avoid any delays in getting results and potentially missing your flight and delaying your arrival. Please note, at-home tests are not allowed.)

c. Original and a photocopy of passport (remaining validity of at least 1 year)
d. Visa fee: Please, visit your local Korean consulate for the amount
e. Visa issuance confirmation number (will be given by the employer or recruiter) clearly state in section 2.1 of the visa application form
f. Due to Novel Coronavirus, every visa applicant MUST fill out the “Facility Quarantine Agreement, Health Condition Report Form, and Consent to quarantine” with the visa application

As you are already aware, you need a negative RT-PCR test to be able to board your flight to South Korea. Please make sure it is an official RT-PCR test authorized for travel purposes and also make sure all your information can be printed out on your results sheet. We advise calling your intended testing center beforehand to make sure it will meet all the travel requirements as well as to confirm turnaround times as these can differ from place to place. The test must be taken within 48 hours of your departure (as of January 20th, 2022). Please note, at-home tests are not allowed. The test needs to contain the following information, please be sure to check and tick all the boxes when checking your results/fit-to-fly certificate:
– Your full name as in your passport – ALL NAMES
– Date of birth
– Test Type – RT-PCR Only
– Test Date – Must be taken within 48 hours of your departure
– Date of PCR test results produced
– Test Result – Negative
– Test Result Provider – Full information
