Monthly Salary
Follows the SMOE pay scale (Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education), currently about 2.3 to 3.0 Million KRW per month depending on qualifications and verified teaching experience

Grade B – 2.6 Million KRW – 3+ years (or a master’s plus 1 year)
Grade A – 2.8 Million KRW – 5+ years (or a master’s plus 3 years)
Grade S – 3.0 Million KRW – 7+ years plus a TESOL or TEFL master’s
Final grade is set by SMOE based on your qualifications and verified experience. Because this position is for experienced teachers, most applicants place at Grade C or above.
