Good working-hours kindergarten
About the School
A specialist early childhood language academy in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, founded by a director who holds a doctorate in counseling and previously served as a professor of early childhood education. The curriculum is built on a bilingual development philosophy — drawing on Chomsky’s language acquisition theory — that prioritizes balanced growth in both Korean and English during the critical language development window of ages 5 to 7. Classes are taught by a team of native English speakers alongside teachers with formal early childhood education credentials. The academy also runs a child psychological development program and holds a 4.8 rating among local parents, with two locations across Gangnam.

Eligibility & Notes
F-visa holders (including F-2, F-5, F-6) are preferred. E-2 visa sponsorship is available for overseas applicants. This is a subject teacher role, not a homeroom position — lesson preparation and delivery only. All homework assignments and parent consultations are managed by a Korean English coordinator on staff. The school works exclusively with young learners aged 5–7 (Korean age); there are no elementary classes.
Quick Answers
Do I need an F-visa to apply?F-visa holders are preferred, as the current teaching staff all hold F-series visas, but E-2 visa sponsorship is available for qualified overseas applicants.
How many days a week is this position? The schedule alternates: two weeks per month are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday only (4 days), and two weeks include Wednesday as well (5 days), for an average of approximately 4.5 working days per month.
Am I responsible for homework and parent communication? No — a Korean English coordinator handles all homework assignments and parent consultations. The native teacher’s role is classroom instruction only.
Does the salary include a housing allowance?Yes — the stated monthly salary of 3.0–3.5 Million KRW already includes a housing allowance; it is not paid separately.
