Basic Requirements:
- Residing in Korea
- Have an F-type working VISA, E-2 or Korean citizenship
- Be able to be registered as a teacher with the ministry of education
Conditions:
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30AM to 4:30PM or 8AM to 5PM
- Vacation: all national holidays, 4 personal/sick days per year, 2 weeks in winter, 4 weeks in summer
- Free cafeteria lunch
- Four insurances and severance payment
- Starting at 2.8 million KRW per month (negotiable based primarily on education and years of experience; there is a new-hire payscale in place). School provided housing or housing allowance of 500,000 KRW for foreign nationals.
- Teaching Age: Grade 1
- Breaks: teach a maximum of 5 out of 7 classes possible in the schedule (not including after-school clubs)
- Class Size: Approximately 10 – 16 students per class
